Job Description
The Solutions Engineer at Gameball is a hands-on technical role that bridges Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customers.This role focuses on supporting pre-sales technical validation, owning customer onboarding and integrations, building reusable technical solutions, and stepping in whenever complex technical help is needed.
Responsibilities
1. Pre-Sales Support
- Support Sales during RFPs, technical discovery, and feasibility assessments
- Answer technical questions and validate integration scope, risks, and constraints
- Build technical demos and POCs when needed using vibe-coding tools (e.g. Replit, Lovable, Bolt, Claude Code) to support deal closure if needed
2. New Client Onboarding & Integration
- Own the technical onboarding journey from sales handover to go-live
- Design and guide integrations across web, mobile, and third-party systems using Gameball APIs and SDKs
- Translate business objectives into clear technical workflows and integration plans
3. Internal Solution Building & Enablement
- Build and maintain reusable demos, sample apps, and reference integrations
- Create and maintain technical documentation, tutorials, and integration resources
- Share integration learnings with Product and Engineering to improve developer experience
4. Post Go-Live Technical Support
- Step in to support customers with complex technical needs after go-live
- Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate with Product and Engineering when needed
- Ensure long-term technical stability and best-practice usage of Gameball
Requirements
Must-Have
- Strong background in software development (web, mobile, or backend); ex-software engineers preferred
- Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and system integrations
- Proven ability to build working applications and integrations, not just designs or documents
- Comfortable using AI / vibe-coding tools to rapidly build demos and POCs
- Experience working directly with customers in technical roles
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with SaaS platforms or developer-focused products
- Familiarity with loyalty, gamification, or marketing technology
- Experience with e-commerce or mobile app integrations
