Presales Solutions Consultant

A Pre-sales Solutions Consultant will be responsible for managing relationships with assigned clients and driving the sales process end-to-end, tailoring proposals, delivering demos and presentations, offering technical consultation, and building solution proposals from scratch, while acting as a problem solver who adds value by addressing client challenges and detailing how solutions will be technically implemented.

The Role

Requirements

Customer Needs Analysis:

  • Conduct discovery calls and meetings to understand customers' pain points, goals, and requirements
  • Present and tailor demos, presentations, and proposals to address specific customer needs
  • Create use case comparisons of why to use Gameball instead of other alternatives

Solution Design & Integration:

  • Take ownership of creating an integration guide with a timeline and action plan tailored to the prospect’s tech stack and business goals
  • Perform technical and marketing discovery to design loyalty-driven solutions using Gameball’s platform
  • Propose architecture or workflows that connect Gameball with the customer’s ecosystem while aligning with retention goals and growth KPIs
  • Leverage knowledge in loyalty, gamification, and retention marketing to consult clients on how to design effective engagement programs
  • Design Figma mockups for solution proposals that reflect both the technical flow and loyalty experience strategy
  • Provide technical and strategic ad-hoc solutions that demonstrate how Gameball adds value through data-driven engagement and lifecycle personalization
  • Manage and execute technical proof of concepts (POCs) to validate solution fit

Implementation Handover:

  • Handover closed deals to the implementation team with a clear integration guide
  • Clarify possible technical challenges that might be faced during implementation

Sales Enablement & Collaboration:

  • Receive client briefs from SDR/AE to prepare tailored product demos and presentations in sync with AE/Sales Manager
  • Support reseller partners with product, technical, and loyalty knowledge during their Gameball sales cycle
  • Collaborate with AE/SDR teams to share insights, provide feedback, and strategize on lead generation and qualification

Solution Presentation:

  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of Gameball products and services, showing how they align with customer objectives and deliver tangible benefits

Relationship Building:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Identify opportunities for upselling additional products or services based on customer needs and usage patterns

Market Intelligence:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback
  • Transfer demand insights, product requests, and technical integration feedback to Product and Tech teams
  • Provide valuable insights to the marketing and product teams for continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any relevant field.
  • 3 - 5 years of solid relevant experience
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, research skills, people’s person.
  • Proven experience in pre-sales, sales, customer success, or a related role.
  • Experience in project management and documentation is a core requirement
  • Excellent understanding of modern application architectures (e.g. REST API, Microservices, Multiple 3rd party solutions such as CRM, CDP, Marketing Automation, Retail POS)
  • Strong technical background with experience in leading integrations and providing technical support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Proven track record in upselling and cross-selling products or services.
  • Analytical skills to leverage customer health data and identify opportunities and risks.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
