The Role

Responsibilities

People & Culture

  • Partner with managers and employees to build a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
  • Support the design and execution of HR policies, processes, and initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on all people-related matters including employee relations, development, and engagement.

Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

  • Lead end-to-end the full talent acquisition lifecycle, ensuring Gameball attracts, hires, and retains top talent globally.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and build diverse talent pipelines.
  • Develop proactive workforce and succession plans with business leaders.
  • Lead employer branding strategies to strengthen Gameball’s reputation as an employer of choice.

Performance & Talent Management

  • Design and manage performance management frameworks, feedback cycles, and goal-setting processes.
  • Use people analytics and feedback to improve engagement, retention, and productivity.
  • Identify development opportunities and coordinate learning & development initiatives.
  • Support succession planning and career paths efforts.

HR Operations & Administration

  • Oversee HR operations, systems, and data integrity to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Partner with Finance on payroll, benefits, and total rewards strategies.
  • Handle day-to-day HR and administrative queries with efficiency and confidentiality.
Requirements
  • 6-8 years of experience in a generalist HR role (preferably in a fast-paced tech/startup environment).
  • Proven success building or scaling People functions in a high-growth tech or startup environment is a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong track record in talent management and employer branding.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive level.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using HR metrics to inform decisions.
  • High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and emotional intelligence.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and talent management frameworks.
